CREATIVE CONFAB
yesterday, raw finery and i hosted our first creative confab. it was an afternoon of discussion, drinks and the joining together of some of the local business ladies. it was such an amazing experience to get to know these women and learn a little bit more about their journeys.
thanks so much to sweet threads, chanelle chiana, anneise, lilian, make collectives and adored vintage (not pictured) for attending.
it is the beginning of something exciting!

PARTY CENTRAL: BRING ON SUMMER
i had an amazing time putting together the bring on summer party for make collectives and la femme. it was a collaborative effort and wouldn't have been such a success without anneise and 1897lb. over 200 people attended and the vibe was so positive. it was such a good time.
special thanks to anthony tran (photo booth snaps), the ugly norwegian (jams), yvette and annette (libations), rainbow juices (delicious cold pressed juices), sweet cakes and honey buns (cake pops and cupcakes), blossom vintage (vintage goodness), matthew lujan (flyer design), coesk (photography) and all the locals who came out and showed their love.
i will be working with the east village shops on producing another big event coming in october.

bring on summer will be loaded with summer fun, good music, a photobooth, pop ups with
blossom vintage & rainbow juices, amazing giveaways, incredible friends and local shopping!
this event is free and open to the public, so bring all of your friends and let's make some summer magic together.

SPINNING THE LOVE BEATS: SECOND SATURDAY
second saturday was really fun this past weekend. i djed Anneise's pop up gallery where i had the perfect view of geometric pieces by squared array.
meanwhile over at the east village arts park, tor grabbed some shots of squarefish as they played.
these days, second saturday is creating quite the buzz around town. my friend kimberly, owner of anneise (who also started food truck fridays) has been inviting local talent to come and play in the arts park for the second saturday artwalk.
it makes me happy to see things finally happening in the east village arts district. there are so many amazing new businesses that are bringing in new energy and a fresh prospective. i foresee good things to come.

ANNEISE
anneise is one of my favorite shops in long beach. the owner, kimberly is all style and simply lovely. not only is the shop beautifully designed with wood accents and industrial materials, but the selection of jewelry and clothing is handpicked brilliantly. you would probably walk in and assume that you might spend an arm and a leg on that one amazing piece that catches your eye, but it's exactly the opposite! you can easily walk out of this store with an entire outfit (accessories included!) for under a hundred bucks. definitely a high-end feel without the prices.
anneise is at 440 e. 1st st. in long beach in the heart of the east village arts district.
stop by on black friday for the east village black friday festival. i will be djing in front of anneise as you dance into your holiday shopping.
