CRUISING

i was sick all of last week and yesterday i couldn't bear the thought of being indoors for another minute. so i loaded up my ipod with some cruising jams and took a drive to palos verdes to find some peacock sightings. i headed to malaga cove branch library and after walking around for a while, i could hear the peacock calls throughout the neighborhood streets, but i just couldn't seem to find any. i stopped and spoke with a man who was fixing his mailbox and asked where i would have better luck. he told me to wait until dusk and said that all the peacock, peafowl and hen would soon be rounding up for bedtime. i couldn't hang out for a few more hours so i decided to hit the coast and make a stop at wayfarers chapel to take some photos and for a little prayer.

it was an amazingly gorgeous day and the drive was so therapeutic for me. i really love pv. there are so many pockets of beauty up in the hills. so much to discover.  i will definitely be heading back one of these days at dusk for the peacock round up.
