i've been listening to you are my destiny on a loop all morning as i put together a list of party ideas. this year i am using my birthday bash as a test run for party design concepts that i have had on my mind for a really long time. throwing parties gives me so much joy. it's not so much that it's my birthday, it's mostly because i just love it.
the 12" of you are my destiny will be released via DFA on april 1. it was written and produced by juan maclean with vocals by nancy whang, formerly of LCD sound system. very nice.
